Practice:
Monisha Khandker has a broad-based practice in crime, family and employment law.
Crime
Monisha undertakes work in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts. She has a particular interest in defence work and is a CPS panel advocate level 1 prosecutor.
Family
She covers all aspects of family law including divorce, public and private children, and injunctive proceedings.
Employment
Monisha represents claimants and respondents in a wide range of areas including unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal and discrimination.
Monisha is a member of the Free Representation Unit on the Western Circuit and has represented claimants at employment tribunal hearings.
In 2009 Monisha was awarded a Pegasus Scholarship by Inner Temple. She spent three months working as a judicial assistant to Chief Justice Diana Bryant in the Family Court of Australia.
In 2010 Monisha undertook the LL.M International Law of Human Rights and Criminal Justice at Utrecht University.
