Practice:
Formerly a solicitor from 1987 to 1990; Michael Cullum joined Albion Chambers in 1990.
Crime
He has extensive experience in criminal law undertaking prosecution and defence work. He is a CPS Grade 4 prosecutor.
He has a particular interest in cases involving homicide; fraud; vulnerable and young defendants and witnesses, including those with mental health problems and cases involving the defence of foreign nationals.
He is regularly instructed in police disciplinary tribunals, inquests and Courts Martial.

R v B Arson of Safeway supermarket, Taunton, value £10 million by a juvenile. Issues of conflict of interest by duty solicitor and causation.
R v Gardner double death by dangerous driving. Issues of joint enterprise; causation and expert evidence.
