Marie Leslie joined Albion Chambers in 2005 having previously practised as an in-house barrister specialising in intellectual property, and then at Southernhay Chambers, Exeter where she practised in Family and Civil work.
Marie’s practice now encompasses contentious probate including Testamentary Capacity and general Inheritance Act matters, contentious Wills issues and Trust of Land cases.
Her work in family law is concentrated primarily within matrimonial finance in which she has a particular interest in cases involving company accounts.
Marie’s clear and concise communication skills are put to particularly good effect with parent, local authority and guardian clients in public law cases.
