Jason Taylor is a highly experienced advocate undertaking all types of criminal work; prosecuting and defending. He is a CPS panel advocate level 4 prosecutor. He is widely instructed in the most serious criminal cases ranging from complex and high-value fraud to murder. He is frequently briefed in multi-handed drug conspiracies and in cases involving all levels of sexual offences, including historic child rape.
In recent years Jason has been increasingly instructed on behalf of insurance companies and public bodies in professional disciplinary matters, regulatory crime and health and safety. In addition, he has particular experience in cases of causing death by dangerous driving.
He is often instructed to appear in Jury Inquests on behalf of public bodies, medical staff or families of the deceased.
Jason has wide experience of police disciplinary matters and is frequently invited to train C.I.D. officers and the Department of Work and Pensions on court skills, duties of disclosure and advocacy and also lectures on a variety of CPD accredited courses on criminal law.

Employment
Jason Taylor undertakes a variety of work for applicants and respondents in the Employment tribunal including unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination on the grounds of sex, race and disability and claims for breach of contract and wrongful dismissal. He frequently represents local authorities and large well-known commercial clients in high-value claims.
In addition to being instructed to appear in tribunals in Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff, his
popularity with instructing solicitors takes him to all parts of the country including Southampton, Croydon, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle.
He regularly writes and lectures in Employment law and recent topics include Constructive Dismissal and the scope Legal Professional Privilege.
