Don Tait and Richard Shepherd, instructed by the CPS South West Complex Case Unit, with officers from Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, secure convictions and prison sentences totalling 50 years for a criminal gang targeting cash machines across the South West.

The gang’s primary approach was to cause explosions to attack ATMs in an attempt to gain access to the cash inside. The Attorney General’s permission was sought by the prosecution team to be able to indict the explosions charge.

All conspirators indicted were convicted.

To instruct either Don or Richard please contact their clerks: Bonnie Colbeck or Ken Duthie.
